President - Connecticut Brownfield Land Bank, Inc.


CTBLB is a 501 (c) 3. The primary purpose is the education of government officials, community leaders, economic development agencies and non-profit organizations on best practices of redeveloping brownfield sites, which would be beneficial to the community. The Land Bank serves a number of clients on both specific and strategic matters.  It manages a program income fund from an EPA Revolving Loan Fund.  It is involved with the cleanup and redevelopment of sites.  


President, Connecticut Land Bank for Brownfield Renewal, Inc.  

CT LB for BR is a Connecticut non-profit corporation.  Activities shall include, but not be limited to, assisting federal, state and municipal agencies in identifying abandoned, environmentally contaminated properties from previous industrial and commercial use; taking title to abandoned, environmentally contaminated properties; and developing alternate sources of public and private financing in order to rehabilitate contaminated properties and providing a community plan of re-use of the properties. The anticipated benefits flowing from the Corporation include, but are not limited to, promoting the health and welfare of citizens, combating community deterioration and lessening the burdens of government.


Former President, Down To Earth, LLC

DTE is an environmental strategy consulting company formerly owned by Arthur Bogen. Successes included arranging more than $17,000,000 grant funding, strategic consultation on over $20,000,000 of environmental cleanup projects, facilitation for more than 150 Brownfields assessment and community relations and educational outreach projects. Competencies included client interface with attorneys, banks, community groups, real estate buyers, and sellers.
